Welcome to June, Dear Sojourner!
We have officially reached midyear, and, as usual, we must reassess our course to ensure we are still on track to meet our goals. Are you still on track? Are there areas that need attention? Documentation? Client onboarding process? Promises you made to yourself or your clients that remain unfulfilled?
If you do not have clients but are on a career path en route to promotion, visibility, or more responsibility, are you on track with your goals and action plan? What is required of you in this moment?
This month, I reflect on my trip to Puerto Rico a few months ago and recent news of tourists expressing their hatred for our coquí, a little tree frog endemic to the Island. As a Puerto Rican in the diaspora, going home is stepping onto the land that raised me and the familiar song of the coquí that meets me in the night—loud, persistent, sacred. That sound carries more than nostalgia. It carries memory. Identity. Ancestry. It reminds me that reverence is not a sentiment—it is a way of being.
These musings led to the question of how we present ourselves to others, including our clients, business partners, and team members.
As we continue, I invite you to reflect on how respect, humility, and curiosity shape your approach to serving, leading, and creating. Are you allowing space for transformation in yourself and others?
What areas of your process require that you show up with a deeper sense of respect, humility, and curiosity?

Respect, Humility, and Curiosity in Practice |
|
|
In coaching, in leadership, and soul-aligned business, we are asked to stand in the presence of something sacred—the unfolding of another person’s truth. It is not a space to be dominated. It is a space to be honored.
Respect means meeting our clients and collaborators as sovereign beings, not projects to be fixed. It means honoring their lived experience, their timing, and their intuition. Respect is not passive—it is active reverence. It pauses. It listens. It asks, “What is needed here?” before offering anything.
Humility is not about shrinking or being silent; it is about being genuine and authentic. It is about the courageous surrender of certainty. When we lead with humility, we recognize that transformation is not ours to engineer—it is ours to witness and support. Humility reminds us that every conversation, every offering, every relationship is a mutual exchange of learning and grace.
Curiosity, when guided by the heart, becomes a sacred instrument. It is the root of every breakthrough. When we approach our work with the question, “What is emerging?” rather than “What should I fix?” we become facilitators of truth rather than architects of answers.
Together, these three qualities are not strategies—they are soul agreements. They shape not only how we serve, but who we are as stewards of purpose and presence.

Soulful Business Tip of the Month |
|
|
Consistency is the harvest of engagement.
In business, as in life, it is not the one bold move that creates transformation—it is the steady, embodied practice of showing up again and again for what you have chosen. Engagement means moving beyond intention into action, and beyond action into rhythm.
This month, ask yourself: Where am I being invited to turn a decision into a daily practice? The harvest you seek will come not from force, but from faithful engagement with the commitments you have already made.
